Actives you can actually keep using.
A four-step routine built around ectoine, a molecule from microorganisms that survive in salt flats. Formulated so the actives stay in your routine past week two.

Four steps. Two minutes.

Morning and night. Removes sunscreen and the day without the tight feeling afterwards.
Mornings. Niacinamide for the look of uneven tone, at a level built for daily use.
Evenings. Encapsulated retinol, released slowly, so week two is survivable.
Morning and night, last. Holds hydration in and keeps skin comfortable.
Cleanser, day serum, night serum, moisturizer. Ectoine in all four. Buying the routine is the point: the products were formulated to be worn together.

A clear gel that takes off sunscreen and the day. No sulfates, no fragrance, pH close to skin's own.

Niacinamide and ectoine, every morning. Lightweight, layers under moisturizer and makeup without pilling.

Encapsulated retinol in an airless bottle. Start two nights a week and build from there. For evening use; wear sunscreen daily while using this product.

The last step, morning and night. Non-greasy, fragrance-free, no SPF — pair it with the sunscreen you already like.

Ectoine comes from things that should not be alive.
Some microorganisms live in salt flats and brine pools, in water salty enough that most cells cannot survive it. They stay intact by making ectoine, a small molecule that holds water close.
It is made by fermentation, it costs more per kilo than anything else in these formulas, and it is in all four products.
These microorganisms tolerate brine as concentrated as 30% salinity — roughly ten times seawater. Most cells rupture well before that point.
It will not resurface your skin. That is what the retinol is for. Ectoine is why you can keep using the retinol.
What's not in it
No fragrance. Not masking fragrance either. Retinol has a smell; we did not cover it up.
No SPF in the moisturizer. Sunscreen is a regulated drug product and deserves to be chosen on its own terms. Use one you like, every morning.
No essential oils or citrus extracts. They are the most common trigger in routines that stop working for people.
No sulfates in the cleanser. The tight feeling is not clean.
No before-and-after photos. Not on this site, not in our ads, ever. Results photography is the easiest thing in this category to fake, so we do not participate.
